Sen. Barack Obama has held his so-called Generation Obama fundraising events across the country. On Dec. 7, the day before he campaigns in Iowa with Oprah Winfery, he is bringing some top names to Chicago for one of the events, targeted toward young professionals.
Performing will be Jeff Tweedy (of Wilco) and Stephan Jenkins and Leo Kramer (of Third Eye Blind). The presidential candidate will also speak.
The event that Friday evening will be held at The Riviera Theater, with tickets starting at $35, sold in advance on the campaign's Web site.
