Here are a few Washington events of note for Tuesday, January 8.
The national political focus is on New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation presidential primary elections.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual “State of American Business” news conference.
President Bush is meeting with Turkish President Abdullah Gul before beginning his trip to Israel and several Arab countries.
