All of the mudslinging has really turned me off to the Democrats and I am a devout Democrat. The way the party handled the primary in my state is a joke.

Although the Republicans do not represent most of my interests. I do feel they are trying to field a moderate candidate compared to past candidates.

After the Nixon presidency there was a far left reaction that resulted in the election of Carter. A good man, but not really strong enough on international politics particularly when dealing with the Soviets. I am really concerned that we elect a strong leader both domestically and globally.

Some of Korge's deals that raised questions at county hall include:
• In 1992, he was the lobbyist for Sirgany International, which was vying for a contract to run airport newsstands. Korge business associate Sergio Pino, a Cuban-American, was a minority partner in Sirgany's proposal. Though the joint venture was ranked second and third in two impartial evaluations, the county commission chose it for a 10-year contract. A 2002 Miami-Dade Office of the Inspector General (OIG) report concluded that minority involvement in the deal was "neither real, meaningful, nor legitimate."
• The next year, Dade Aviation Consultants, a consortium of engineering firms overseeing Miami International Airport's maligned and oft-delayed $6.2-billion expansion, paid Korge, Barreto, and a third lobbyist each $16,000 a month. A 2002 investigation by the OIG claimed the trio received $1.3 million over nine years whether they worked or not. The OIG report terms the county relationship with Dade Aviation "unhealthy for the long term."
• Though a county study in 1994 showed airport passengers would spend millions more if gift shops offered better merchandise, two years later Korge persuaded airport officials to block opening a Disney retail store that would compete with Sirgany's gift shops.
But perhaps most controversial was the airport's $40-million food and beverage concessions contract, which county commissioners in 1998 awarded to Host Marriott Services Corp. and a minority joint venture known as World Wide Concessions, which were represented by Korge and Barreto, respectively.
Four years later a federal grand jury began to probe allegations the deal was rigged to circumvent minority participation rules. County and federal public corruption investigators discovered both Host Marriott and the minority firm had privately agreed to give Korge and Barreto 10 percent of their profits, according to grand jury information reported by the Miami Herald and New Times in 2004. In addition, World Wide Concessions received $33,225 per month to do virtually nothing.
The investigation came to an abrupt halt when then-Miami-Dade Police Director Carlos Alvarez clashed with Marcos Jimenez, then-U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida. Jimenez accused the police department's detectives of leaking information about the sensitive investigation, which Alvarez denied. The police director then yanked his underlings from the case. Alvarez, who is now county mayor, said he believed Jimenez was afraid or unwilling to bring criminal charges against some of the most powerful political players in Miami-Dade.

Hillary is waiting until April 15th to release her returns, because she isn't done cooking her books or spinning her narrative yet.

I grew up in a church with a pastor who's view and sermons would be considered EXTREMELY sexist - and I would denounce his views in a moment if it ever came up.They are not and nerver were the opinions of myself or my family, and yet this pastor was a great man in many ways, and a dear friend of the family who also gave us the foundations of our ideas of moralality and I would never denounce our beloved pastor personaly even though many of his wilder sermons never did seem quite right.

I relate 100% to Obama's situation, and I commend him for how he has handled the situation. It seems Obama's answer is to try to work to heal the open wounds that still exist because of racism rather than to shut out anyone who dares to become angry and speak out. As inaapropriate words of Pastor Wright may be, the anger is real...it does exist and the solution isn't shut out all voices of dissent. Barack Obama has this far out notion of a United States of America and I think we should give it a try!

I think it's rather dumb when people complain about Obama's wife, and the same is true of his Billary claims, that's just another way of saying why pick on me for being involved with Rezko (who also, fund raised for Bush) has Hillary revealed her tax returns? Answer the quetions Obama, otherwise you just look more and more like a child every day, and no one will trust your judgment to negotiate or lead.

If Obama cared about change he would not have been so impatient and world have appreciated the opportunity to work for change in the Senate. Thereby gain experience. The AIDS virus has been traced back to the 1950s as coming from a monkey in Africa. I guess all the scientists researching this issue must have gotten together to fabricate evidence to cover for a US government conspiracy to kill Africans. We whites are so extremely hateful. As Reverend Wright says, "God damn America!" Prejudice exits within all races. But Wright's views are a little out there, don't you think? If you go to church, you may well have listened to your pastor spew forth with sermons to which you don't agree. I go EVERY Sunday, which Sen. Obama certainly does not in his position, and I've heard more than my share of sermons with which I cannot agree from my 17 year mentor/friend pastor. You too would be frustrated, angry and more if you experienced others' fear and hatred simply because of your skin color, and the effects of economic disenfranchisement along with the associated feeling of powerless. That's human nature, no matter what color the man. It's a free country and freedom of speech was still a right the last time I consulted the Constitution. Pastor Wright was voicing his opinion of some very real American history - past and in the making, and it would probably surprise us to hear the real context of his comments. Until we have, we shouldn't be pawns of the media, as if we're too foolish to remember how often information is slanted thereby. Sen. Obama is NOT his ex-pastor, he thinks for himself no matter what he hears (note his vote re: the war), and most importantly, he stands consistently on a platform of change to move this country away from such divisiveness, as the only candidate who can. These feelings exist is many people, and we can't ignore them away. Yet most of us want them GONE and we can do that through this man who transcends the vitriolic spectre of race, with a will bring us TOGETHER to face the tough issues TOGETHER, as we move past that ugly history and build a better America TOGETHER. "If [Obama] wants to give my donation back to me or let me give it to a charity, I'm fine with that," he said. "But I don't see how this makes a difference now -- the money still got him elected. And how do I know it's not going to a charity that's offensive to me?"

As much as 30% of Obama's primary, and caucus votes are Republicans trying to choose the weakest democratic candidate for McCain to run against. These Republicans have been gaming the caucuses where it is easier to vote cheat. This is why Obama has not been able to win the BIG! states primaries. Even with Republican vote cheating help.

Hillary Clinton has been out manned, out gunned, and out spent 2 and 3 to 1. Yet Obama has only been able to manage a very tenuous, and questionable tie with Hillary Clinton.

If Obama is the democratic nominee for the national election in November he will be slaughtered. Because the Republican vote cheating help will suddenly evaporate. A judge in Los Angeles yesterday allowed Hollywood mogul Peter F. Paul to begin taking sworn testimony in his $17 million fraud suit against former President Bill Clinton, but a technicality delayed establishment of a trial date.

California Superior Court Judge Aurelio N. Munoz ruled Paul's legal team can begin seeking depositions from a host of big names – including Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton – that allegedly were witnesses to an effort by the Clintons and top Democratic leaders to extract millions of dollars from Paul in illegal donations and then cover it up.

Munoz is expected to set the trial date at an April 25 hearing. He said yesterday in court he could not set the date, because defendant Jim Levin, an aide to President Clinton, must be served notice again. Levin did not respond to the original complaint, and Paul's legal counsel at the time – the Washington watchdog Judicial Watch – did not file a notice of default to verify that fact before filing an amended complaint.

The complaint says Bill Clinton promised to promote Paul's Internet entertainment company, Stan Lee Media, in exchange for stock, cash options and massive contributions to his wife's 2000 Senate campaign. Paul contends he was directed by the Clintons and Democratic Party leaders to produce, pay for and then join them in lying about footing the bill for an August 2000 Hollywood gala and fundraiser.

Paul attorney Colette Wilson told WND she has 30 days to service notice to Levin, and he will have 30 days to respond.
