Good morning.
Here are a few Washington events of note for Friday, March 7.
President Bush is meeting with families of Cuban political prisoners and making a statement on Cuba.
The Labor Department is releasing the unemployment report for February, while the Federal Reserve Board is releasing the consumer credit report for January.
The President’s Council on Bioethics is meeting to discuss the ethics of newborn screening and other topics.

Comments
The Labor Department can put out all the reports it wants. Everyone knows their reports do not truly reflect the amount of people out of work. They don't count the homeless or the people who have used up unemployment benefits and are off the rolls or people who gave up looking.
