Good morning.

Here are a few Washington events of note for Monday, April 21.

President Bush is meeting with Mexican President Felipe Calderon and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper in New Orleans to discuss trade and immigration issues.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, World Bank President Robert Zoellick and Grammy award-winning artist Shakira are kicking off an effort to promote basic education for all children worldwide, including the 72 million young children and 226 million older youths who are out of school.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund is sponsoring a Patriots Day event at the Vietnam Wall Memorial honoring 75 individuals from across the country who served their country during the Vietnam era.
