Well, we didn't have what you might call a groundswell of response to the call for readers' picks for Hillary Clinton's Top 10.

But, in the spirit of the contest offered, we did find one worthy of crowning the winner.

So this morning's Swampy goes to.... With Clinton headed for the David Letterman show on Monday to unveil her own Top 10 list -- an equal-time response to Barack Obama's Top 10 last week -- we are posting the entry of Swamp reader and respondent Robert Hewson, who cited the "political psychology'' blog, Head of State, in answering the call from The Swamp.

We're still trying to figure out No. 1, but here it is:

Top 10 Inducements From the Clinton Camp To Vote for Hillary

Your pick shows just how in the bag you are for Obama.
For now at least.
Your corporate masters, after all, endorsed Bush over Gore in 2000.

Dear Fellow Americans,

Our Great-grand Nation, the United States of America
is and will face very critical "Challenges" in coming,
months, years, and decades. It is very essential that
we pick out next President on following criteria.

1. A candidate with "Vision and Statesmanship".

2. A candidate with " Stable Character and Morality" .

3. A candidate with "Presidential Temperament" and
"sound Judgment".

4. A candidate with "little Washington exposure" and
"connectedness with New voters".

5. A candidate who "Inspires us up" rather than
"Tears
us down".

In my professional opinion there is only one candidate
left, who bears all the above qualities aand that is
Honorable Senator Obama.

As an independent registered voter since 1974. I voted
for Carter, voted for Reagan, voted for First Bush,
and second Bush in 2000. In the process last interest
and stopped voting.

This time we can not afford to stay on side lines and
let Washington stay the same.

We can not afford our Greatgreat Nation to become less
than what we are and can be.

We need to send clear and candid message to the world
and some 24 hour partisan hateful media. These media
outlets are trying to deprive, dupe, and derail us
from getting it right this time.

They are trying there best to deny us better rather
than bitter future. { Our Greatgrand Nations people
are
persistently and constantly subjected to Psychological
terrorism" thru these hatful partisan media outlets.

We Americans are not going to allow them
psychologically terrorized us and silence the masses.
I am sure that we will get it right this
time and elect Senator Obama our next President. let
us not get dragged down into racism and sexism.

Let us remember that our Greatgrand is constituted of
family, fellowships, friends, faith, funds, fun,
future with fairness and freedom and without fear or
favor.

We can not afford to lose any of above. Let us stand
up, be counted, save, build our Greatgrand Nation for
centuries to come.

God Bless our Great grandNation, its diverse people.

Our future needs stability, security, safety,
sustained progress and restoration of our due status
in this perilous Global World at all levels.

10. My supporters don’t use Face Book as their primary news source.

9. If I ever get a Hillary Boy to match Obama Girl—he won’t forget to GO VOTE.

8. Bill won’t reveal any cleavage in anything pink while berating journalists.

7. I don’t strike back at Barack when attacked---BUNDLER BOY! (Okay, but that did feel good.)

6. I can buy a house without having a mobster tour it first.

5. I can buy a house without having a mobster help me with the ‘deal’.

3. When I scratch my face—I don’t mention people who kicked my *** the night before in a debate.

2. I don’t run from the next debate like a little girl in a pink tube top.

1. If I vote 'present'—it’s for something like ‘how many bagels do we need’—not government policy.

The best indeed she can offer. The woman can't even use a coffee machine at the petrol station, or for that matter fill her car tank. This much she ackowledges. But, she promises, she is close to "the people", understand them, knows their problems, is like them. What a fake she is!

Absolutely right - the primary reason that Hillary Clinton won't win the nomination is because the public rightly perceives her as dishonest. She has the typical Clinton evasiveness about her.

Barack Obama on the other hand is a very genuine candidate. I just finished reading his first book 'Dreams from my Father' and I've found it to be very insightful. It gives a very indepth and personal look at this background, his values, and the wisdom that he gained through his years of being a community organizer in Chicago as well as his visit to Kenya before entering Law School at Harvard. All I can say is - he is not only a once-in-a-lifetime candidate, but also a once-in-a-life time person. During the coming weeks I'll start reading his second book 'Audacity of Hope' as well.

Vote Obama!

10. My supporters don’t use Face Book as their primary news source.

-- no, they pollute blogs with equally irrelevant wikipedia quotes.

9. If I ever get a Hillary Boy to match Obama Girl—he won’t forget to GO VOTE

--Neither have we...hence Obama's lead.

8. Bill won’t reveal any cleavage in anything pink while berating journalists.

-- No, he'll just offer cigars to Ann Couter.

7. I don’t strike back at Barack when attacked---BUNDLER BOY! (Okay, but that did feel good.)

-- No need to, you've already struck first, second, third....

6. I can buy a house without having a mobster tour it first.

--But you can't run a nonprof without $40 million in undisclosed donations.

5. I can buy a house without having a mobster help me with the ‘deal’.

-- See number 6

3. When I scratch my face—I don’t mention people who kicked my *** the night before in a debate.

-- No, but I do thank Snuffelopagus for being my bitch boy.

2. I don’t run from the next debate like a little girl in a pink tube top.

--Why would I? I'm super good at pandering and speaking in contrary sounbites, so I love "debates!"

1. If I vote 'present'—it’s for something like ‘how many bagels do we need’—not government policy.

-- Unfortunately, that policy has helped kill more than 4,000 of my fellow service members. So, great job!

Hillary is a liar and can never be trusted. All you racists who are using her "experience" or otherwise hiding under your bed-sheets should really be ashamed.

Oh, nic--i know we're scraping the bottom of the barrel for military people--but I doubt that you're one of them.
And if you are--REMEMBER YOUR MESSIAH LIES ABOUT THE WAR AND KEEPS VOTING FOR IT.

Oh please. The cult of Obama needs to get some perspective. Everybody makes mistakes. It's how you handle them and whether you learn from them that matters.

Yes, Hillary voted for the war, but she acknowledges that it was a mistake and explains why it won't happen again.

Obama wasn't even in the Senate at the time. He also admitted in 2004 that he had the same position as Pres. Bush on the war. His handling of the Wright situation was also clumsy and showed ill judgement. Combined with his fear of debates, it makes him look weak, indecisive, and lacking in leadership.

Not to mention, his grasp of actual policy issues is extremely weak. I don't care about politics in Washington. I vote for politicians to handle that so I don't have to care.

I care about what happens in my hometown and how that affects me and my family. Hillary understands that. Obama does not.
